When I first met Rita and Matt, I was looking ahead—planning for the future for myself and my bride. As a planner by nature, I wanted to make sure we found a place that offered great healthcare services, engaging activities, and the amenities we were accustomed to. Aging comes with challenges, and with my own health complications, I knew the sooner we had a plan in place, the better.

I needed to find an assisted living facility for my mom after her stay at a short term rehabilitation facility. The social worker got in touch with Rita who was in touch with us immediately. She gave us many potential options while also completely understanding the emotional impact of making a decision like this. Rita quickly used her contacts in the industry to set up meetings at facilities that matched our needs, as well as attended the meetings with us to guide us through the process. We were able to find a great facility that met all my mother’s needs and my family’s needs.

Rita was recommended to me by a facility that was unable to accommodate our needs. My son, who suffers from the effects of a stroke/TBI 8 years ago, was moving back into the area after a divorce. Our Aunt & Uncle have REALLY been struggling, but we had no idea how much until their daughter & caregiver became very ill, went on hospice and passed away. Rita came to their house on a rainy Sunday afternoon and met with their children and our extended family. Rita was informative, patient & kind. Unfortunately, my Uncle is not ready to make any changes yet but Rita is calling every week to follow up and we know we'll be using her to get them safely into their next chapter as soon as possible. Rita from SAGE has truly been a Godsend! My mom’s health declined quickly. She has been in and out of the hospital and rehab. I knew she wasn’t going to be able to continue living at home. Rita arranged tours of assisted living facilities I was interested in seeing and even accompanied me on the tours.
